Hitachi Automatic Turntable. This is a nice automatic turntable that works and sounds good. It has a few scratches and dings on the top as you can see in the pictures. Fully automatic. Made in Japan in the 1980s.

All of the other top models were presented in a very dark, almost black finish. This turntable is my favorite Trio/Kenwood model from the early ‘80’s. It commanded a price 20% higher than the well-known KP/KD 990D.

Vintage General Electric GE VR22 Stereo Phonograph Cartridge with stylus. This came off of a phonograph we had a few years ago, it was working when taken off, it will need a new stylus. It is very similar to the Thorens TD-124, but the 121 is a dedicated single speed (33.33 RPM) playback deck. Considering its age, 56 years, it is in excellent condition. The turntable is mounted on a plain, functional oak veneer plinth.

Thorens TD-124 Turntable. the counterweight on the Ortofon tonearm is noticeably sagging, the red rubber damping that separates arm tube & counterweight is visible due to the sag. I'd venture to guess that this is the result of the rubber damping gradually losing elasticity over the decades.

A product to repair or reinforce the dust cover hinges of Thorens TD-160, TD-165, and TD-145 turntables. A pair of solid aluminum hinges stamped in the shape of the original Thorens cover including the slot, for an attractive and clean repair.

Thetonearm is in good working order, and bearing is tight and smooth. Physical condition is good, but does have wear, scratches, light pitting, etc. Tonearm rest/support is included. The headshell is a SONY.

New old stock. Don't try to find anything about this table on the internet, nothing is available. The company was established about 12 years ago in NY and did not do well. I got the unsold turntables from their warehouse. ALL Brand new. Comes with everything: 2 belts, tools, tonearm, power supply, cartridge and needle. Turntable weighs about 15kg. Build like a rock. all aluminum and wood high-end finish. Comes with in-house made tonearm and cartridge. Easy adjustable speed.

This motor was developed in 1972 as a follow-up to the successful DP-5000. In the early to mid ‘70’s, Denon provided various turntable components that could be mixed and matched with those of other manufacturers.

It plays very well and strong. Motor has been disassembled and lubricated. Runs excellent. Can play 33 and 45 rpm records. Batteries included.

And here’s another nice Model 550.direct drive and fully automatic. This combination sounds very clean. I thoroughly cleaned this piece inside and out. cleaned the pots and switches. lubricated the center spindle.

What you see here is what you get. I really don't know. But it was made in Japan and that says a lot about quality. I'm guessing this tonearm has never been out of its original box except when I just photographed it.
