In more advanced desktop radios that usually employ e-field antennas, it can reveal sets of local signals that were previously "buried" in the background or masked by stronger stations. Build quality and finish are very good and the tuning knob works smoothly and accurately. Please note that the antenna only covers the MW broadcast band.
