This transformer works perfectly with a series resistor as recommended by Ring. I had bought one from another seller that was supposed to be rated for 60 watts, but that one died after only a year. This one is only rated at 29 watts, yet it's much heavier and larger than the first one I bought. I would definitely recommend it for your Ring if you don't have a wired doorbell to power your Ring.
