EU three CD collection from the Canadian Country great that compiles all of Damron's excellent hard country recorded for RCA between 1978 and 1989. Producer Joe Bob Barnhill came up with the formula: 'Not as hard driving as Waylon, not as laid-back as Don Williams.' It was a formula that worked well for Damron's voice, and series of excellent albums, all found here, were the result. From the excellent honky-tonk of 'The Ballad of T.J.'s', 'Mid-Nite Flytes', 'If London Were a Lady', and 'Honky Tonk Angels And Good Ol' Boys' to love songs like 'The Masquerade and the Lady', this collection of RCA recordings covers all the bases of Damron's most successful commercial era.
