This is an expensive Rolex, and quality control clearly failed. The seller told me to send it back, but this was a birthday gift and she wanted to wear it on her birthday. I asked for a local repair — three days later, no response. I would not recommend this seller. The diamond repair requires removing and reinstalling the bezel. If done incorrectly by a local jeweler, the bezel could loosen over time, so we requested the return to ensure it was handled properly. This was explained in my last message and return shipping label was provided right away to make things right.
