The Seagate SAS 15k device utilizes a familiar 3.5-inch form factor, easily fitting into most setups or rigs. Furthermore, the device utilizes a large 16MB memory cache for a fast data transfer rate with each and every use. Thus, you can easily transfer large files or programs to and from the hard drive with speed and ease of mind. At its peak, the device is capable of offering a 300MB/s transfer rate with an average latency of roughly 2.0 ms.When fully integrated into your setup, the Seagate SAS device will utilize all eight of its read-and-write data heads to offer quick response time and accurate retrieval. Beyond this, the device is able to withstand a small amount of shock without causing issues. While in operation, the Seagate SAS can absorb roughly 60 Gs of shock.
