This UPS system offers eight outlets that provide an output power capacity of 2700 Watts / 3000VA. With a power conditioning feature, this device provides protection against spikes, surges, failures, and other types of power disturbances. Gain maximum battery life, ultimate performance, and dependability with the built-in intelligent battery management, and save time and money with the automatic periodic battery test function. This battery test produces an audible alarm that gives you immediate notice when a battery replacement is needed or a disconnection is detected. Use the built-in front display to view visual indicators produced by the APC Smart-UPS SUA3000RM2U 3000VA 120V USB System, and make corrections quickly. With all of its available features and functions, the APC 3000VA Smart-UPS delivers premium power protection for servers, point-of-sale routers, hubs, switches, and other networking devices. Along with the USB unit, you receive a Smart-UPS signaling RS-232 cable, USB connection cables, rack mounting support rails and hardware, a complete installation guide, a documentation CD, and a complete software CD that offers step-by-step setup instructions. You are able to have full control over your electronics equipment whenever or wherever you travel. The outlet group control feature gives you the ability to create a pre-selected shut down sequence for all of your electronics equipment. By doing this ,you are also able to ensure that equipment that must continue to receive power for data security will do so. You also gain the ability to turn your equipment on and off or shut it down remotely. The remote capabilities are the result of the network manageable software application that works with Telnet, the Internet, or another networking system you utilize. A built-in serial port allows you connect to the APC Smart-UPS system with the use of a cable. The Sine wave output technology eliminates humming that can occur within this type of UPS system as well as the heat that these systems generate. A built-in USB port gives you the opportunity to manage the UPS system with the use of a compatible cabled connection. The APC SmartUPS SUA3000RM2U 3000VA USB rack-mountable systems offer five output connections. This includes two NEMA 5-15R connections, two NEMA 5-20R connections, and a single full load NEMA L5-20R connector. A single NEMA L5-30P input connection that has the ability to handle a nominal input voltage of 120V is also built-into the APC SmartUPS SUA3000RM2U. This 120V is then transferred to compatible voltages that are required for the various pieces of equipment connected to the system. User replaceable batteries are installed in the SUA3000RM2U Smart-UPS rack-mountable devices. These batteries allow trained users to perform any necessary upgrades and replacements for the batteries while eliminating the need for excessive downtime. Hot-swappable batteries installed in these APC Smart-UPS systems ensure clean, uninterrupted power while the batteries are replaced. You can put total trust in the APC Smart-UPS SUA3000RM2U 3000VA USB System. With a long life battery, easy-to-install rack mount, complete installation instructions, and all the necessary cables and hardware to get started, you are able to put this system to work quickly. Upon opening the box and removing the UPS device the front cover plate had somehow become detached frm the main body of the device. The rear wall of the device was caved in and both elect plugs were bent. I was able to straighten the elect plugs to the point that I am able to use them , I didnt even attempt to correct the real wall as this wld req taking the UPS apart. I plugged it in, powered it up it works.
