In this case, a manufacturing defect was found in the 1/2 carat diamond ring. Rather than send out a flawed item, we issued a full refund. We offered a similar ring with a 1-carat diamond — twice the size — at its proper value. This was an option, not a replacement. Some may prefer to ship broken jewelry just to avoid complaints. We don’t. Thanks for the negative feedback — it shows how seriously we take quality control.
