The cats don't scratch on them much, and when they di their claws get stuck and they are dragging them around the floor afraid of them. They seem nice enough, but when I put 'sisal' in the search and these come up... they aren't that. Guess you get what you pay for. Cheap price and cheap product. They are cute and if your cat likes scratching carpets/rugs they'll do the job if attached to something so they don't move around.
