That is what "open box" literally implies. The majority of the time there is never damage on the front, but sometimes there is. Does that affect the operational integrity of the machine? Absolutely not. I guarantee it'll work great for years to come. I believe it was even sold under retail pricing so you saved money for a minor cosmetic blemish. Please consider updating your negative feedback.

It literally takes 20 mins to figure out if the unit is under warranty(which it is) I have no idea why he would tell you he'll be back in 10 days. Did you get a tech from GE or was it a third party person you called yourself? Did you register the appliance to see that it was under warranty like I instructed?
