Users who want to work late at night without turning a light on will likewise value the backlit keyboard. The Logitech G710 Plus uses Cherry MX Brown mechanical switches. The switches are quiet, and there is a good amount of springiness when they come back up. Each mechanical key is highly responsive and will keep up with even faster typists with ease. The Logitech G710 Plus is compatible with all versions of the Windows Operating System, starting with Windows Vista, and with Mac OSX 10.6 or later. It includes a USB port, allowing for easy connection of other peripherals to the keyboard. The bottom has cable management channels that keep cables connected to the hardware neat and tidy. The keyboard dimensions are 1.5 inches in height, 20 inches wide, and 8.7 inches deep. The cable is 6.6 feet long and connects to the computer via USB 2.0.
