It seems to be a manufacturing tolerance issue. The tips of the metal components on this part are more rounded than the original OEM components. I swapped parts around and managed to make a single working unit from the two. It's a shame the OEM version isn't available anymore.

These will not work for my project. I messaged the sellers about this issue and never received a response. Ended up having to return and order from somewhere else. I am very disappointed with the customer service or lack there of. And they raised the price of the needles I needed on top of all of this so I will not be reordering from this store again.
