I plugged in the Thunderbolt adapter and then connected the HDMI cable and nothing worked. Troubleshot for a while and then tried plugging the HDMI cable into the adapter not connected to the computer. Then connected the Thunderbolt adapter to the computer and it worked. Maybe help someone else with this situation.

When I brought this up to the seller they just said it was shipped without a tracking number. I then asked what the bogus tracking number was for as it just misled me as a buyer. The seller immediately refunded my money without any explanation. I wasn't looking for a refund, just an explanation...! Happy but confused...!
