Requires installing a driver and it comes with a disk for easy install and my pc has no disk drive but there are ways around that but for the price the value is great. Connected at highest speed for this adapter (433mhz I believe) considerably faster than the laptops original wifi N card. No antenna was included but I had one from a router that worked perfectly; notified the seller about the missing antenna, and they immediately issued a partial refund for this item. Shipped securely and received in a normal timeframe for USPS.

When I brought this up to the seller they just said it was shipped without a tracking number. I then asked what the bogus tracking number was for as it just misled me as a buyer. The seller immediately refunded my money without any explanation. I wasn't looking for a refund, just an explanation...! Happy but confused...!
