The quality of construction and finish cannot be faulted, it doesn't look out of place with the rest of the hi-fi [Audiolab/Roksan/Cyrus]. Straight out of the box the sound was impressive, listening to the powerful tones of Freddie Mercury. As it warmed up I challenged it with Ania Brzozowska. Every key on the piano, every string on the violin could be picked out yet nothing was harsh or synthetic. Mission accomplished. Recommended

However, I was disappointed to find that the power cable was not included. I had to search for a compatible one among my own items just to test the DAC, and I’ll now need to order the proper cable separately. It would have been helpful if everything needed to start using the unit right away had been included.
