The parcel was economic; small, yet enough to fit the earpads without crushing or compressing them. The pads differ from the original Elex pads; the material's rougher and the pads are thinner. I'm unable to measure the FR, but there may be less bass. Look online and you'll see Focal had a silent revision of their pads that match these characteristics, so they're likely OEM.

They seem decent enough, but I can't talk about the sound too much yet. If these are original, the value is beyond my wildest dreams (10 vs. 50-60 USD now). They look identical to the ones that came on my Elex.
