This thermostat was originally registered with someone else so it was not usable for control via the internet. I complained to the seller and he said to call Honeywell which I did and was allowed to reregister the unit. It now works via the internet but a little differently as discussed earlier. I considered this as unnecessary hassle.

As for the item, I wouldn’t pay the ridiculous prices scalpers are charging, but I got this one at a fair price. Would definitely do repeat business with this seller
