There is a ton of thought and craftsmanship that went into this specific model. The picture clarity is great, package notification system works like a champ, day and night images are crystal clear, and I talk to people through the camera without opening my door if I want. It’s a product that I highly recommend. The small amount Ring wants for the monthly subscription is minimal compared to the features you get.

He immediately offered to rectify the problem and sent me a new unit even before I had sent the original back. I received the replacement today in perfect condition. The contents of the package appear to be undamaged and new though. Was shipped in a soft plastic mailing bag (not in a solid shipping box) which (apparently combined with careless Postal Service handling) resulted in the damage to the ROKU package.
