Based on the Polish fantasy book series, "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" continues the ongoing troubled saga of Geralt of Rivia. With a release date of 2015, it is a great video game for any collector. The "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Collector's Edition for PC gives players the ability to change the Witcher's groomed appearance. Two virtual barbers can change Geralt's hairstyle and facial hair styling to create a more personalized version of your favorite Witcher. In addition to the Witcher 3 game for PC, the collector edition includes a wealth of accessories, including a painted and well-detailed Polystone Witcher figure. This figurine stands at 10 inches tall and shows a pose of the Witcher defeating an in-game griffin. Along with the figure, you'll receive a Witcher medallion and a 200-page artbook that shows off hundreds of concept drawings for various elements of the game, including environment and character design for "Wild Hunt." The gameplay of this installment is based in an open world environment, where you can control the Witcher as he embarks on his quest to find his lost ward and track down the Wild Hunt. As a Witcher, Geralt is a hardened warrior, feared and hated by most, but set in his ways. He is one of the mightiest warriors-for-hire in the land. Witchers are powerful beings capable of magical abilities and feats of extreme physical prowess.The amount of freedom in this edition stays true to the Witcher series by allowing the player to make different choices in the game. You can prioritize becoming a collector of Gwent cards, or abandon mini games completely and be your own guide. You are then free to explore the different areas and choose your own set of goals. The in-game store allows you to buy any accessories you wish. This freedom of play allows you to truly craft your own experience, and with over 200 hours of play, you are sure to have plenty of side quests to keep any Witcher occupied. You can make your version of Geralt a high and noble knight who always does what is right and never turns down the opportunity to play the part of a hero. You can also play a very different side of the Witcher as a mean, ruthless, and uncaring fighter, determined to complete his mission. The choice remains in the player's hands. Included in the PC stock collector edition are stickers, a special steel book to hold the discs, an exclusive CD of the official soundtrack, and the official, developer-created "The Witcher Universe: Compendium." It comes with a link and purchase code to a downloadable version, which is available on both Steam and GOG and can be registered with either platform. There is also DLC content available to enhance the game experience. For any gaming household, "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is an excellent choice. The characters are unforgettable and the gameplay top-notch. It is a great gift choice for those who love games as well as those who love the fairy tales that the story was originally based upon.
