Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Amandla was originally released in 1989. It is the third and final collaboration between Miles Davis and producer/bassist Marcus Miller. The album mixes elements of the genres go-go, zouk, funk, and jazz, combining electronic instruments with live musicians. The composition "Mr. Pastorius", featuring drummer Al Foster, is a tribute to late jazz bassist Jaco Pastorius. Miles Davis is among the most influential and acclaimed figures in the history of jazz and 20th century music. With his ever-changing directions in music, Davis was at the forefront of a number of major stylistic developments in jazz over his five-decade career. In 2006, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which recognized him as "one of the key figures in the history of jazz".

By looking at it you couldn’t tell. My record player is new and there is nothing wrong with the needle. I was afraid of this happening but I love Rick Springfield that much and I had to have that album. I thank seller for excellent care of album cover and envelope. I wish it didn’t skip.
