    Product Information

Blaze across the tarmac and establish your street racing crew as the dominant presence in Palmont City. Need for Speed: Carbon, which is developed and published by Electronic Arts for Xbox 360, begins where NFS: Most Wanted ended. You’re still on the run, and you’ll survive the only way you know how: build faster cars, and race them for pink slips and cash. The Need for Speed: Carbon game release date was October 2006. This one has a single-player mode, a multiplayer mode, and a local co-op mode that supports two players. This Xbox 360 game works with the standard Xbox controller, the wheel controller, and some racing wheels. It’s also available in both a standard Xbox and a collector’s edition. That special edition has some exclusive bonus content, including vehicles, races, accessories, and events. Need for Speed: Carbon for the Xbox 360 features an open world. Many racing games have a set order to the events you participate in. In Need for Speed, you travel around the world at breakneck speeds and can choose from the various activities you encounter. Some events do require a certain prestige level before unlocking. There are also rivals and other story points to progress through. These games are all about the most wanted cars, and this version is no exception. There are nearly 100 unique vehicles with accessories to purchase and win, and they’re all real-world cars. Vehicles are organized into three performance tiers and three car classes. The three performance tiers are low, moderate, and high. The three classes are exotic, muscle, and tuners. The exotic class features cars with high speeds. The muscle class delivers great overall acceleration. The tuner class provides outstanding handling characteristics.Car customization is an important aspect of these games as well, and Need for Speed: Carbon gives you many options to choose from. In Autosculpt mode, you can purchase and install aftermarket parts. You can also shape and mold those parts to your liking. You’re able to paint your car as well as apply customizable vinyls that can be quite elaborate. Vinyls can be moved, skewed, resized, and more. You can also tune vehicles to your liking and particular race conditions. The main mode of Need for Speed: Carbon is Career Mode. You start with just a 2002 BMW M3 GTR. The game then challenges you to earn money and build and tune better vehicles. This lets you work your way through three main boss rivals: Kenji, Angie, and Wolf. Kenji controls the Downtown area. Angie controls Kempton. Wolf controls Fortuna.Carbon wouldn’t be a Need for Speed game without pursuits. As you play throughout the open game world, you’ll have to be on the lookout for cops. Drive at too fast a speed or make a wrong move and a pursuit will start. Police are also featured in some events. The longer a pursuit goes, the higher the heat level. Escaping high heat provides great rewards and is perhaps the essence of these video games.
