Recommended for HP Elitebook 8540w. I had the stock 4GB of RAM originally installed and anyone running the base 4GB (2×2) should order an upgrade (or larger capacity modules 16 or 32GB if your motherboard's mapped for them if possible) , especially if running Windows 10. I run an Android emulator also and it's performance improved dramatically. I recommend memorydealusa. thank you
