We offered them a free return for a full refund. The customer didn't want to send it back. He wanted a new one and to keep the original item purchased. We didn't feel like that was the correct course of action. We tried everything we could to resolve this for the customer.

Better quality materials than the original and will easily outlast the mower. The fit to the engine was perfect. I did not have to beat or bang, just slipped straight on. The muffler did not come with the same brackets for the protection shroud but then, I don't think this muffler needs protection.
