- i***k (13)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufThe problem with this design is that they use a 1/8" barb nipple to try and replicate the seal that the CO2 cartridge makes with the gasket in the iSi sofa siphon head, but it's not long enough by about 3/4" AND/OR they didn't design the adapter correctly (the unthreaded length is too long, they should have shortened the whole design by an inch or so using the same threads). This design should NOT require PTFE tape it shipped with, only trailer pipe fittings use PTFE tape. It is made of stainless steel, and the threads are sealed with PTFE plumbing tape approved for sealing pipe connections for drinking water. Sealing with PTFE tape is very effective, which is why mechanics use it to seal air brake connections.
