The pack was new and unopened so was obviously not packed at the factory where t was produced. Contacted marches-ironmongery to explain the problem and sent photographs of the threshold minus seal. Lara dealt with my query and had a replacement seal mailed to me which arrived in two days. Very happy with this company and the customer service. Not an expensive item but was dealt with in a very professional way and without fuss. Than very much!
