I hope it works and adds years of life. I don't think the woofer surrounds would be easily removed I installed the foam to the back like OEM and then made a second glue application around the cone and the foam. The surround now should last indefinitely!? I bought this with the rebuild kit and the seller adjusted shipping cost. Thank you.

A quality product, restored my woofers to like new condition. I purchased the recommended foam surrounds, installed behind the woofer like OEM appearance. Applied the optional foam enhancer to hopefully give the foam a longer life than untreated. I'm playing them and they sound great. The rebuilding is still a job, but it is worth doing if the drivers are still good. So it's a good value IMO.
