This Extreme Edition CPU is capable of incredible speeds thanks to its Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and overclocking, and this makes the 2nd generation Intel Core i7-3960X Extreme CPU a powerful and fast processor. A base clock speed of 3.30GHz improves to 3.90GHz with Turbo Boost technology. This machinery also has Intel hyper-threading, which delivers incredibly efficient 12-thread performance across six cores, a four-channel integrated memory controller, and the largest cache size for super low latency and quick response times. This piece of hardware performs many functions simultaneously and smoothly. The Intel Smart cache on the Extreme CPU is a large last-level cache, which enables efficient allocation of shared information to all six cores and manages to match the needs of various applications for ultra-efficient data storage and manipulation. Each of these individual caches are 15MB each, allowing share access to the last level, and delivering dynamic access speed to the most popular applications whenever and however you need them. So users can experience better multi-tasking and multi-threaded performance across many types of applications and workloads, the six core/12 thread processing provides six complete execution cores in a single package, delivering 12 computing threads that make it possible for operating systems and applications deliver additional capabilities, For gamers and creative types who need to work on big and complex files and software, there is a massive PCIR graphics bandwidth deliver as many as 40 lanes of PCIe bandwidth for PCI Express devices. It came with the Ryzen sticker and some thermal paste. The CPU shows signs of previous use (no damage whatsoever), but once I installed it in my system, it worked flawlessly! I would definitely recommend this seller!
