Going to experiment with this piece of HDPE Marine Board on the back of a Jon Boat. Not as an actual transom board, but on the back exterior as an outboard support pad. Seems to be strong, and somewhat heavier than the plywood that was being replaced. Easy to cut and drill. With it being rot and moisture resistant, I would think and hope it would last as long or longer than the original small piece of plywood. Time will tell.

It was packaged well in dbl, heavy-duty cardboard and taped securely in place to prevent damage. It arrived in perfect condition (including the shipping packaging), and was well within the +/- 1/8" tolerance--it was 1/32" smaller than my nominal dimensions, so it was perfect, actually. The total price was lower than elsewhere online. When I need a piece of plex again, it will be from this seller!

It was in some thin cardboard with no reinforcements on corners, so the corners are all rounded and scuffed from being dropped/transported.
