Der Einband weist nur sehr geringfügige Beschädigungen auf, wie z.B. kleinere Schrammen, er hat aber weder Löcher, noch ist er eingerissen. Bei gebundenen Büchern ist der Schutzumschlag möglicherweise nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Bindung weist geringfügige Gebrauchsspuren auf. The English Standard Version is a literal translation from the original Bible texts, firmly rooted in the tradition of Tyndale and King James but without their archaic language. First published in 2001, it is closest in style to the Revised Standard Version and is well suited to public reading and memorization. The first Cambridge ESV Bibles are presented in the slimline Pitt Minion format. Like Cambridge's Pitt Minion Bibles in other translations, they are characterized by an elegant text design using a font that is compact, yet clear and easy to read. This Bible has red-letter text and includes cross-references, a concordance and maps. It features India paper with art-gilt edges and like all Cambridge Bibles is Smyth-sewn. It is bound in black goatskin leather., A beautiful goatskin leather ESV reference Bible, in the Pitt Minion format. It uses a compact yet readable font, resulting in an elegant and slimline Bible. This Bible has red-letter text for the words of Christ and includes cross-references, a concordance and maps. The India paper has art-gilt edges and the Bible is sewn, not just glued., These are Cambridge's first Bibles to use the dignified, expressive language of the English Standard Version (ESV). Published at the beginning of the twenty-first century, it is closest in style to the RSV and is well suited to public reading and memorization. This is a center-column reference Bible presented in the Pitt Minion format: the Bible text is compact yet easy to read, while the Bibles themselves are slim and elegant. There is a choice of both black- and red-letter styles, with full cross-references, a concordance, and color maps. All the Bibles are printed on high-quality India paper and Smyth-sewn, with a ribbon marker. Cover styles range from an attractive two-tone faux leather to beautiful goatskin leather.
