Faithful to its no-noise mantra, this effects unit features true hardwired bypass functionality for pristine audio signal output to an amp even when turned off.While sporting a simple design with little need for accessories, the Dunlop MXR M135 is packed with plenty of features. A single large Trigger Level knob sets the level of suppression needed. The yellow LED light labeled Gate indicates when the suppression function is activated and unwanted frequencies are cut off. A blue LED indicates when the pedal is turned on via the footswitch. A useful function in noisy applications or with high-gain signals such as guitars with extreme bass distortion or guitar overdrive, this noise gate pedal includes a button that extends the suppression range further for cleaner amp output. For fine-tuning your noise suppression threshold, the noise gate has a three-way selector for hiss and mid and low frequencies. This selector is sure to match the problem caused by electric guitars and other pedals in the loop, providing great noise reduction.
