It must be able to adhere to vertical surfaces and if it is too thin, it would just roll off the repair site. It is easily thinned with a drop or 2 of paint thinner. We do wish you had asked for assistance for before leaving neutral feedback as we pride ourselves on our customer service and could have easily solved the issue for you with just an inquiry.

Also had a tech call to explain how the installation of gaskets should go when installing. A+++ . New gaskets arrived quickly and packaged well new in packages.
