The TASCAM US-600 Digital Recording Interface is a 6 in/4 out USB 2.0 Audio/MIDI interface. It can be perfect for recording multiple sources while still remaining highly portable. You can simply connect it with your laptop computer and you can be ready to record anywhere and everywhere. Each input on the TASCAM US-600 Digital Recording Interface uses an XLR/TRS combo jack to support microphone or line levels, which are industry standard connections. The US-600 also includes a signal/clip LED to aid you in setting your input level. The first input has an instrument-level switch for direct recording of guitar or bass, and a direct monitor path can allow musicians to hear their performance without computer delay. The rear panel of the The TASCAM US-600 Digital Recording Interface includes a pair of unbalanced outputs, a dedicated MIDI input and output and a stereo S/PDIF digital in and out. For additional versatility and value, the The TASCAM US-600 Digital Recording Interface can be compatible with and support many kinds of both Mac and Windows audio production software, including Logic Pro, Live, Nuendo, Digital Performer, Fruity Loops, and Pro Tools 9. Included in the box is a copy of Steinburg’s 48-track recording software Cubase L5. The technical specs for the TASCAM US-600 Digital Recording Interface are as follows: the US-600 supports 24 bit audio signals and a maximum sampling frequency of 96 kHz. The four main inputs in MIC-IN mode have an input impedance of 2,220 ohms, while in LINE-IN mode they have an input impedance of 15,000 ohms. Input 1, or the INSTRUMENT-IN, has an input impedance of 1 million ohms. The four analog audio outputs have an output impedance of 200 ohms. In addition to the other inputs/outputs, the TASCAM US-600 Digital Recording Interface has a USB B 4 pin type connector and uses a USB 2.0 high speed cable. Yet again another great purchase from the shop and excellent customer service. This is such a beautiful bag and a shockingly great value for such a camera bag. It’s basically in a like new condition and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Judy also sent another small gift which I really appreciated.
