Awfully easy to test. I sent photographic proof to the seller with an ohm meter showing open circuit with the switch fully in the "up" position. Seller refused to refund. I opened a case on ebay- they found in my favor and made the seller return my money. I sell on ebay. If a buyer says the item is not as advertised, I give a refund. We told the seller to switch the leads, as they had been on the shelf a while, but even without us removing, it worked before and after. Seller had buyer remorse. Sorry.
