I would recommend that you watch a video on how to attach it as this did not come with instructions.

Soon after purchase I had concerns about tariffs, & then a question re: the reel I received as part of the rod/reel combo. Seller immediately responded to the tariff question (no extra $$$ needed) and then later the reel question (I had actually received the correct reel) - all while on holiday!
