The shipping box was probably mishandled somewhere in the delivery pipeline, causing the HD to unseat. The Seller did respond to my inquiry and suggested I check the HD connection. When it arrived, it wouldn't boot properly and the screen flickered. The seller included the wrong charger (a low-powered Asus one), which may have caused the issues. I ended up buying the correct Gateway charger separately, and after that, the laptop worked much better. We spent extensive time with the user troubleshooting, and they declined to take our advice. They insisted on returning the item. We gave them a return label, which they did not use. They chose to keep the item. It's clear they wanted to get both a refund and the item for free.
