One note: even though the package had multiple 'fragile' stickers on it, there was a puncture about 2 inches long on the front. I opened it carefully and was very relieved to find that the puncture was on the back side of the drum, the empty space behind the drumhead! What more could you have done - pack it between steel plates?? end of story - love it. Grateful.
