The aluminum is discolored and has lost its luster. This was not readily apparent in the pictures of the item but is extremely obvious once you get you hands on the item. Disingenuous of the seller to not mention this in the product description. I will likely try and restore its condition the best I can with some Barkeeper's friend and elbow grease.
