It was extremely well protected and packaged and experienced no damage in transit. The movement is by a well regarded maker and was exactly as described. There is nothing fundementally wrong with the movement that a good clean and lubrication, and some adjustments to the escapement will not fix. At the time of purchase, I thought I was taking a chance at the asking price but, on examination, I am more than happy with my purchase.
