For the first time in the Madden series an NFL license has been acquired, allowing you to play as real teams from the 1993-94 season. In total, there are 28 NFL teams, 38 Super Bowl teams since 1966, twelve All-Time Franchises since 1950 and two All-Madden teams. While the game continues to use the vertical playing perspective with three passing windows, players are now much larger than before and have new running and tackling animations.<br><br>Rounding out the features are 72 new plays that can be flipped in the opposite direction, reverse-angle instant replay, audibles that can be customized at any time, a bluff mode to disguise plays, and support for up to four players with the 4-Way Play adaptor. This 16-Meg cartridge also includes a battery to save your progress during the season.

However when I received them the bookends which were fragile were significantly more damaged than the pictures suggested. The bookends were bubble wrapped and the box was marked fragile so I can’t really fault the seller!
