Distillers with adjustable temp are used by many for wines, spirits, etc. That is the reason for the temp. I have accepted the return, provided you with a return postage label. Furthermore, the warranty listed was the original warranty with the item. You cannot claim on a manufacturers warranty when you have purchased an item secondhand, it doesn't work like that. Also, it wasn't used for what it was made for

Why not just be straight with your buyers? Machine itself was in a state (as described) but I do think you could have stated that the carriage handle was broken. Anyway, this has now been repaired and the machine stripped down, cleaned and a new sponge bar installed, and it does work.
