They were wrapped snugly in bubble wrap, inside of a fully enclosed cardboard sleeve, which was in turn placed inside of a water resistant media mailer bag.     Five star! I have ordered on-line many times for miniatures, some of which were fragile, glass, etc. This is a stand-out for perfect packing: carefully wrapped, then in a plastic bag, then pillowed in packing material. Plus, except that the mirror is missing as shown in the ad, the 2 pieces are in like new, excellent condition and they are 75 yr. old. Of course, I highly recommend the seller.
