The new silver one is made by stainless steel and much heavier than the black one, but it still feels comfortable. Thanks to its weight, it becomes more stable in writing. I think it is a good choice if you have tried another fountain pen before, it deserves its price. The pen is brand new, and the package keeps complete after the ship from Germany to US, looks very good.
