The photos indicate the openings of the fleece strips allow for tiny bites to be tucked into. The strips unfurl without assistance! And, the fleece strips do not go to the edges of corners, as shown in last photo.

I assume the stitching was not lined up on one side, so it all came undone. I haven’t even used them yet since they needed to be washed first.
