Enjoy the ability to check voice mail, make automatic redial calls, and set multiple ring volumes with just a press of a button. For a more convenient calling experience, use the Cisco 7960G VoIP phones with a compatible headset. Create passwords for security at your discretion. There is a generously sized LCD display screen built into to the Cisco 7960G VoIP version phones. This display screen gives you the ability to use all of the XML features of this device. With the technology of this phone, incoming messages are identified and categorized for you on the screen. This gives you the ability to return calls when necessary using the direct dial-back capability. You also have direct access to see text readouts on the display of voice mail that is left for you. Use the Settings feature key found on the Cisco 7960 VoIP version phones to make adjustments to the display contrast and set unique ringer sounds from a large selection of re-installed options. Select volume settings for all of the device’s audio capabilities including the handset, ringer, headset, and loudspeaker. You also have the freedom to selection network configuration preferences that will meet your needs, or opt to use the system administration to create default preferences for you. Choose automatic default or manual set configurations for dynamic host control protocol (DHCP), CallManager, Trivial file transfer protocol (TFTP), and backup CallManagers. Enjoy the ability to make moves and changes for the phone’s settings without pressing a button by simply picking up the phone and moving to a new location within the network. There is an internal Cisco two-port Ethernet switch featured on the Cisco 7960 VoIP version phones. This switch allows for direction connecting to a 10/100BASE-T Ethernet network with the use of an RJ-45 interface paired with a single LAN connection for both the phone as well as a co-located PC. A built-in headset port eliminates the need for using a separate amplifier. The Cisco 7960 VoIP series phones are versatile pieces of communication equipment. These phones do meet all ADA (American Disabilities Act) requirements, ensuring it works well with hearing aids and magnetic coupling guidelines. You also have the ability to configure passwords for security purposes on these phones that restricts who may or may not use the devices. You are able to configure restrictions on users’ capabilities as well with just a press of a button. Whether you choose to use default settings throughout the Cisco 7960 VoIP series phones you use in your office or set up specific settings for each of these devices, you are sure to see significant changes in the high level of communication that takes place. This phone version does require the use of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, CallManager.
