Using an advanced QoS system, it maintains an optimal distribution across the wireless bands to push maximum performance while also eliminating one of the biggest issues with older routers. Rather than arbitrarily prioritizing data streams, the D-Link DIR-880L selects the fastest Wi-Fi band for each connected device and prevents older devices from connecting on bands that they can not maximally use.
