And you purchased the staked in replaceable joints. You will notice a star shape pattern surrounding the cap. These joints require pressing out and then re-staking the ujoints. I would suggest taking the driveshaft to a driveshaft shop if unable to repair at home. This is quite normal for driveshafts that use crimp/stake style Universal joints.
