That level of realism extends to the presentation of the title as well. Each game is similar to a sports broadcast. A group of commentators will discuss every play of the game as it happens. The crowd is also one of the most detailed seen in video games at the time. Every group member is individually modeled, giving them a unique look. This basketball title comes with an array of modes. There is your standard exhibition type, letting you battle it out against any other squad. The MyCareer mode allows you to create your own character and ascend to the ranks of stardom. The franchise mode gives you control over everything about the team from drafting athletes to setting ticket prices. There is also an online multiplayer so that you can test your skills against a global audience. The Wii U version of this title includes some cool features. Using the unique nature of the Wii U tablet, the developers of this title included a feature that gives you the edge on the court. At any time, you can tilt the tablet to activate the Gatorade Biometric Scan. This scan displays how hot a particular athlete is on the Wii U's secondary screen on the controller. Tap on an athlete to get detailed statistics or use this screen to make quick coaching decisions.
