I'm not afraid of some diy, so shaved down some of the inside lip, so it would sit along the recessed edge of light instead of on the face itself, and bend the clips out before it would stay in firm. Finish is beautiful chrome, and considering other units of this price range are plastic, I'm very pleased with the end result. Would do again.
