Focusing on General Linear and Mixed Effects Models for continuous responses, and extensions of Generalized Linear Models for discrete responses, the authors discuss in detail the relationships among these different models, including their underlying assumptions and relative merits.     The items arrived two days early! Wow! The books were packaged to avoid any damage in shipment. If you receive books through the USPS you know what can happen to a package; Diddens Place did a great job here. Good condition?? No, the books were more in excellent to new condition, even the one hard cover! As described they were perfect. Value? The price was fantastic for the quality!! We shall certainly do business with Diddens Place again when looking for hard-to-find books.
