Sony A7r3 w/ 200-600 zoom, no problem. Very smooth head and tension can be adjusted very finely with the knobs but still locks up solid with a little over half a turn. If you need this type of head take my advice and buy a good one first. I made the mistake of trying to get by with a cheaper one and the difference is amazing, so much smoother.
